The Storm family has been manufacturing quality products for more than 65 years under names such as Western Brass, West Ag, Imperial and Western Raintrol. Walter Storm entered the brass foundry business in 1932. His company developed and manufactured irrigation and water products for many of the pioneers and leaders. He has offered strength and stability to the industry sharing design techniques and setting standards for other industry leaders to benefit the irrigator and the landscape.

The Buckner Company began when W A. Buckner obtained his first patent in 1912 for a slow-rotation sprinkler. It revolutionized the irrigation industry. He introduced the industry to the first hose less irrigation system at the famous Pebble Beach Golf Course. Over the next 30 years, Buckner and his partner developed such significant products as the quick-coupling valve, hose swivel, sand resistant bearing and cam-drive sprinkler. Twenty years later, Buckner revolutionized the industry once again by producing the first automated golf course sprinkler system.

Today, the union of these two innovative companies has presented a new generation of industry pioneers who are still focused on high quality, reliable products.
